Muurbrekers
Dutch foundation Muurbrekers (Wallbreakers) is a tribute to Dutch ships that sailed from Holland to Germany in 1987 passing directly through the Berlin Wall. The Muurbrekers foundation would successfully return with sections of the wall some 25 years later and exhibit newly decorated pieces on the same day it fell in 1989. Founder Willem Piet briefed Odin that their branding should be steered toward a revolutionary style, strong enough to invoke emotions of peace and freedom. Our influences were championed by graphic design and liberation circa 1987.
